Important Information for 2009 Undergraduate Students
From 1 January 2009, Macquarie University will have a new academic structure. A university's academic structure is central to the way it carries out its activities, and Macquarie has set itself ambitious targets for achieving excellence in teaching and research. This new structure will better assist the University to achieve these goals.
So from 1 January, instead of being organised into nine Divisions, Macquarie University will have four Faculties - Arts, Human Sciences, Business and Economics, and Science. Existing degree programs for 2009 will be organised into these Faculties, so the restructure will not affect students' study choices for next year. For further information on the academic restructure, please visit http://www.mq.edu.au/provost/reports/academicstructure.html
